Amazon.com Review
For grinding larger quantities of coffee beans for a coffee-drinking crowd, Capresso's commercial-grade Infinity grinder handles 8-1/2 ounces of beans at a time. Sixteen different settings--four each in the four categories of extra fine, fine, regular, and coarse--let you adjust the grind to the specific blend of coffee and method of brewing. The finest setting is ideal for preparing Turkish coffee, which is a rare feature to find in a grinder. A built-in timer sets the grind for anywhere between 5 and 60 seconds so you can walk away without having to constantly press a button to continue the grinding process. The Infinity has an advanced conical burr design made of steel that is usually only found on commercial grinders. This burr design slows down the gears and reduces the amount of friction and heat to preserve coffee's flavor and aroma. The coffee container holds up to 4 ounces of grounds and remains sealed during grinding. For safety, the bean container also needs to be locked into place for the Infinity to operate. For easy cleaning, the bean container and upper burr lift off so you can clean the grinding chamber with the included brush and wipe down the exterior housing. The conical burr grinder measures 7-2/3 by 5-2/5 by 10-4/5 inches and carries a one-year limited warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde

Capresso Conical Burr Grinder (2010-04-29)
Purchased the 560 Infinity Conical Burr Grinder from Amazon. After using several blade grinders and a wheel burr grinder, this conical burr grinder from Capresso leaps to the top of the back. First impression is how quiet it is. I no longer worry about grinding coffee in the morning. Another highlight of this grinder is how evenly the coffee ginds come out. It also appears to generate very low static. When I went to dump out the grounds, nearly all the grounds came out. For the price point (under $100)this grinder has made me a very happy customer.
Better Coffee (2010-04-08)
The coffee brewed is smoother but richer with the Burr Grinder. The down side is getting the grounds out of the
burrs. With each time I grind I remove the top burr and brush the grinds into my filter and then brush around the
other burr to get most of the grinds down into the collection cup. Oh by the way, make sure you put the top burr back in correctly with the soft lip side up. Once I somehow got it in upside down and got it stuck.
Very Even Grind, No Static Electricity (2010-02-14)
I upgraded finally from a mill grinder to the Capresso 560. This has profoundly improved the quality of my espresso shots. The mill grinder particles varied in size from powdery dust to a large sand grain. The Capresso 560 grind is consistently even. Even grind allows the pump on my espresso machine to work much more efficiently because the portafilter basket is not clogging with powdery particles. I can adjust the grind just fine enough so that the espresso extracts at the same rate every time.
I also like the design that is easy to clean and looks good on my countertop. The coffee container has a convenient rounded leading edge that makes it easy to dispense the coffee into the portafilter without making a mess. The machine has snug tolerances that are consistent with a high quality machine.
There is no detectable static electricity that makes some other grinders so messy. It may have something to do with the grind staying cool while it is being milled.
The analog timer has ten increments. Each increment is approximately enough to make one ounce of espresso.
Overall this is a well built and economical machine that produces excellent results.
Solid grinder (2010-01-28)
First of all, there are 4 different models. For some reason, that basic information was difficult to find. I even called the company and the person on the phone had to go ask someone.
All 4 models are the same with the exception of the finish:
Black plastic.
Silver painted plastic.
Brushed Stainless steel finish (metal base).
Polished stainless steel finish (metal base).
It turns out they no longer make the polished stainless steel finish. I purchased the brushed stainless steel model 565.05 thinking it was the polished model. The picture was wrong. And even on one side of the box it shows the polished model.
So to me the only drawback to this grinder is the difficulty in picking and receiving the model I wanted.
Otherwise in my limited use so far, it is perfect. I suggest a metal base model so that it does not vibrate around. The brushed stainless steel matches my Breville machine perfectly too.
I studied a lot of grinders and this was the best model and price. I paid $119 with free shipping. Very easy to use; Pour some coffee beans in and spin the knob.
